As part of the renovation of a housing development in Castelnuovo Rangone, in the province of Modena, Urmet installed a 2voice video door phone system, utilising a technology that allowed the pre-existing cable in the building to be reused, adding only a few new sections to handle some new entrances.
The new 2voice video door phone system consists of an 18-user Alpha video main entry panel in black, from which both the pedestrian entrance and the driveway gate are opened, and 6 audio secondary entry panels.
Mìro and vModo hands-free video door phones have been installed in the flats, from which it is possible to open the condominium door and switch on the staircase lights, or open the pedestrian gate and driveway, avoiding the use of additional remote controls. Residents then requested the call forwarding function on smartphones. A multi-user Callme device was therefore installed in the communal rooms of the housing development, which enabled all flats to use this functionality with a considerable economic benefit.
