The project to renovate a building of historical/cultural interest in Modena, which has now become the new Teatro delle Passioni, required various interventions at the plant engineering level. Urmet realized the fire protection system, providing the related adaptation of the entire building.  
The division of the structure into functionally differentiated areas led to the need for the installation of 2 separate control panels of the 500 series, mutually connected via a serial interface.

A complex network of different detection devices was placed in the areas inside the building:
96 low-profile photo-optical smoke detectors, 40 of which were equipped with out-of-door optical repeaters, for fixed or flashing light signals
2 linear reflection smoke detectors with reflector with a range of 50 m
1 2-channel smoke extraction control panel, ideal in large structures to complement and extend the protection provided by point detectors
2 low-profile heat detectors.
 
As sound and optical devices for fire alarm and emergency signaling, the following have been installed:
-    25 addressed optical acoustic plates on loops
-    33 manual reset push buttons.
